The Family Support Program provides a diverse range of supports and services for families with children who have intellectual, developmental and/or physical disabilities. As part of the intake process the Family Support Coordinator meets with the family to determine their needs and priorities so as to suggest which Extend-A-Family programs would best serve the family.

• Education, summer, transition, short and long term planning
• Information and assistance in completing applications to access government and non-government funding from various programs
• Referrals to other community services and supports
• Case management services to identify, coordinate and achieve goals
• Respite planning for parent relief through community programs
